The California International Marathon (CIM) is a prestigious annual race that has been held in Sacramento since 1983. It’s renowned for its fast, point-to-point, net-downhill course, which spans from Folsom to the State Capitol. The race has a rich history of attracting runners from all over the world who seek a fast time or to qualify for the Boston Marathon. The course is certified and sanctioned by USATF, making it a Boston Marathon and U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier.
A point-to-point route with very few turns, plus favorable NorCal weather, makes CIM a fan favorite and one of the largest annual marathons in the U.S.
