USA Women’s Marathon & Half Marathon Palm Desert just sent out a notification today that the race scheduled for this weekend has now been postponed to January 25, 2025.
The decision came directly from Riverside County, due to “unforeseen recent circumstances and safety measures imposed by the city.”
USA Women’s Race has offered a generous compensation package for the sudden date change: A free entry, guaranteed and transferrable, to any of their future events. This is in addition to the rescheduled 1/25 race.
If you cannot attend the 1/25 race, you’ll receive two free entries to any of their races over the next two years, which are also guaranteed and transferrable.
Palm Desert Women’s Marathon is a very popular event partly because of their gift bag: A custom designer sterling silver necklace, and a Lululemon finisher’s shirt, among others.
